Crude oil moved off the rebound in the dollar and acted like it priced in the weekly numbers before the Energy Information Agency data was released. Maybe some traders read the API? Wow what a concept! Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of the EIA report was that fact that refinery runs fell to 79.9% of capacity a signal that demand is still very weak. The EIA reported that U.S. commercial crude oil inventories increased by 1.8 million barrels. That was higher than expected and put it at 337.7 million barrels which the EIA says is slightly above the upper limit of the average range for this time of year. Total motor gasoline inventories came in up 2.5 million barrels last week and are above the upper limit of the average range for this time of year. Distillate fuel inventories also increased by 300,000 barrels and are way above the average range for this time of year. Fa parte della famiglia dei touch pad musicali, nati con le batterie elettroniche negli anni 80′ e sviluppatisi negli anni successivi anche nella direzione della modulazione fisica dei suoni.
In questo senso il kaossilator è emblematico.
È un “Dynamic phrase synthesizer”, in parole povere un sintetizzatore (che non prevede generazione di suono ma utilizza suoni già esistenti al suo interno) che permette di salvare frasi dinamiche (ogni volta differenti), cioè tracce musicali composte dalla sovrapposizione dei suoni interni emessi e modulati attraverso, appunto, il touch pad.
Suddetto pad viene quindi usato sia per inviare segnale di play al suono scelto per l’occasione, sia per modulare quest’ultimo secondo 2 vettori (ascissa/ordinata).
Un vettore viene utilizzato per la frequenza (cambiare nota al suono, con la possibilità i decidere gli intervalli fra le note cambiando la scala) l’altro viene utilizzato per l’ampiezza dell’onda sonora (intensità del suono).
